Rights for ugly animals

Today’s post is a little bit shorter than normal. Do you like pandas? Kitties? Dogs? Almost everyone loves them. When you touch or hug them, they can show their love to you. Alright, there are animals that you wouldn’t like to hug, and I’m not talking about a wild wolf, a pig or even a slug. I’m talking about really ugly animals.

Who would like to have a blobfish as a pet? The truth is there are people. Actually, the blobfish, who was crowned as the ugliest animal in the world, is the pet of a society: the Ugly Animals Preservation Society.

This society claims that pandas are overrated (they say that we spend too much resources to preserve them). Is truth that no animal, plant or living being should be endangered, but this association tries to preserve only ugly animals, those who no one cares about.

Among those animals, we’ve got the already mentioned Blobfish a kind of fish which natural habitat is in Tasmanian Sea, very deep below the surface, so it is like a “blob”. We can find also the Proboscis Monkey, an animal with a really big nose. Also the sloth, and some animals I couldn’t find the name (but I could find photos).

If you’re interested, you can search the Ugly Animal Preservation Society on Google.
